I use Umami to understand which pages and projects people read, where visits come from, and whether pages load well. This portfolio and The Weight of One share one analytics website ID and are separated by hostname and site tag.

What is measured

Page views, referrers, campaign labels, device/browser information, approximate location, and anonymous interactions such as opening a project, resume, or contact link. The Weight of One also measures chapter visits and language changes; it does not send your selected reading lens as a personal profile.

What is not measured

I don't collect your name, email, LinkedIn identity, or session recordings, and I don't add custom visitor fingerprinting. Umami uses anonymous session identifiers, not a named profile. Analytics cannot tell me which LinkedIn member opened this site. A contact-link click also doesn't mean a message was sent.

Only publisher-defined UTM campaign labels are kept from URL queries. Other query parameters and fragments are removed before analytics submission. Please don't put personal information in campaign links.

Your choices

The tracker respects the browser's Do Not Track setting. You can also block the Umami script. Development previews do not include the portfolio tracker.
